Background
We are partnering with the Head of Office and Head of Shared Services for the U.S. subsidiary of a high-growth startup investment firm that is actively expanding its New York team. This role offers a strategic opportunity to lead procurement efforts, optimize operational efficiencies, and collaborate closely with leadership to strengthen procurement strategies and mitigate third-party risks. Role
You will oversee procurement strategy and operational processes while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management in partnership with Legal, Risk, and Compliance.
- Building and maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring key performance metrics are met and fostering continuous improvement.
- Advising senior leadership on procurement strategies, market trends, and opportunities to drive operational efficiency.
- Mitigating third-party risks and implementing risk management strategies across procurement activities.
- Overseeing procurement technology adoption and ensuring compliance with procurement principles and legal requirements.
What We’re Looking For...
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Extensive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or related operational leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in supplier management, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and procurement technology.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, compliance requirements, and applicable contract law.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

- Location: NYC (59th & Madison), 5 days per week onsite.
- Compensation: $125,000 base salary + performance bonus.
